Only the original purchaser has the right to build one home from the plans or designs purchased, you may not rent, lease, loan, give, transfer or sell the plans. A client may purchase plans for a builder to build a home for the client.

Because it is illegal to create derivative works without having purchased the right to do so, even if you are planning on making extensive changes to the design, copyright laws require you to purchase a copy of the plans.

Robert Klob nor any employees of RKD are licensed as a Registered Architect but are governed by the laws as stated by the Arizona Board of Technical Registration and laws in each state work is performed.  Most municipalities within the United States do not require residential projects to be prepared by licensed architects. However, many do require that engineering be completed by licensed engineers who are governed by the state in which the work is performed.  Our engineers are licensed in each state work is performed.
